Ecological and Credit Development / Marketing
AEL has established a significant role in the emerging
field of ecological credit development. AEL staff members
are involved in a wide array of projects aimed at the
development of diversified conservation credit portfolios,
often referred to as conservation banking.
Services include wetland mitigation, stream mitigation, carbon sequestration
and biodiversity credits. The primary objective is to identify, promulgate and
successfully market multiple ecological services as a conservation enterprise.
AEL developed one of the first entrepreneur mitigation banks within the state
of Texas, as well as the first official bank within the state of Oklahoma. AEL
has also worked to verify carbon sequestration opportunities and is currently
working with entities seeking to develop diversified portfolios of carbon offset
credits. The firm has also successfully conducted stream restoration projects
within the states of Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Project lands are managed to maximize revenue from applicable
credit sales as well as intensive timber management and
commercial wildlife operations. AEL biologists constantly
strive to develop diversified revenue streams, often
significantly exceeding traditional industry standards
in applicable fields. Typical AEL clients for these services
include private entrepreneurs, timber investment groups,
industrial clients and municipalities. |
