Conservation Capital

Conservation Capital develops properties that it identifies as having valuable conservation assets, such as mitigation acreage and storm water retention capacity, valuable natural resources, as well as traditional conservation-compatible development potential. 

The properties we target include both brownfield sites (properties presenting redevelopment challenges because of potential on-site contamination) as well as traditional greenfield properties.  We impose rigorous environmental and use restrictions on purchasers of these property interests to ensure that the objectives of each customer are satisfied.  A positive by-product of our successes is the ecological enhancement and permanent preservation of environmentally attractive land in areas now undergoing persistent commercial development pressure.  Conservation Capital’s activities may include joint venture projects, direct investment in properties, or consulting services.
