Job Posting – Real Estate Division Manager AEL Realty, LLC.

Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit, willing to launch and develop a new line of business for a dynamic company with a proven track record of success in the natural resource management and marketing arena?  Then AEL Realty, LLC, the Real Estate Division of Advanced Ecology, Ltd. (AEL) is looking for you.

We are seeking a talented, motivated self-starter to manage and assist with the development and growth of a real estate company with primary focus on large timber and recreational tracts. Transactions will initially begin in East Texas, with growth opportunities in Texas and surrounding states.

Job Description: The manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations as well as the continued development of the business. This includes managing, procuring, and showing listings; managing other agents with the advancement of the business; and the development and implementation of the expansion plan into surrounding areas and states.  AEL Realty and AEL will have a symbiotic relationship and will work together on a daily basis for the benefit of both companies.  The manager will have the resources and support of AEL and the employees on an as-needed basis. This team of professionals includes foresters, rangeland ecologist, GIS specialist, and wildlife and wetland biologist. The manager will work out of AEL headquarters, located in Center, Texas.

Education and Experience

  • Required: Candidate must have a Texas Real Estate Agent’s license, preferably a broker’s license. The applicant should be comfortable working in the outdoors and have acumen towards natural resources, a strong work ethic and the ability to work both alone and as part of a team.
  • Preferred: Candidates with experience in large real estate land transactions, a comprehensive understanding of the real estate industry, and a solid business foundation are highly desirable. Experience managing personnel and a bachelor’s degree are also desirable.

Compensation: Salary will be determined based on the applicant’s qualifications and experience. Benefits include a 401K retirement plan and health, dental, life, and disability insurance.
